MIO

        Mio jumped on her fluffy bed. It was night. She had just got back from her tuition classes. She stared blankly at the ceiling, tired. "Miooooooo!", shouted her mother from the kitchen. "Dinner's reaaaaddyyy!".  Mio rolled her eyes. She did not have the appetite that time. She got up and shouted back, "Lateeer!". And then she lies back down, closing her eyes. Oh man, I'm really exhausted right now and I haven't finish my assignments yet, she wondered. Listening to the ticking of the clock, Mio felt a little drowsy. She yawned. With her eyes were barely open she muttered, "Maybe... i should skip classes for tomorrow......", And she slept. At the kitchen, Mio's mother, Miss Yuki was still waiting for her daughter coming down for dinner. But for some reasons, her daughter hasn't show up yet. Curiousity got the best of her. She went to Mio's bedroom and knocked the door gently. "Mio? Are you in there?". No reply. Without hesitation, Miss Yuki banged the door open. BANG! Mio woke up immediately from her sleep. She was too shocked until she stuttered random words, "Oh my gosh, pink skirts flying down the hill!? I-I mean, seriously mom? Why are you intruding my dream! I was dreaming of buying a cute pink skirt...", her voice going lower and lower. Miss Yuki stared at her daughter, from top to toes, trying to read her mind. Mio shows an innocent face, "What is it?", she tilted her head. Miss Yuki starts asking questions, "Have you finish your assignments?", she said, with her arms folded. Mio shrugged. She looked away from her mother's face, searching for excuses. "Uhmmm... Half", she said. Then, Miss Yuki interrupted, "Half is still considered as not finished. If you haven't finish them, why are you sleeping?", she asked again with sharp eyes. Her mom was still standing in front of her while she's sitting on her bed. Mio sighed. "I'm tired mom, I don't have the appetite for food, and-", said Mio, leaving her sentence hanging. Miss Yuki was curious, "And?", she asked. Mio shook her head quickly, trying to get something out of her mind. "N-Nothing! Yeah! Nothing! i'll start doing my assignments now", she said. Miss Yuki raised her eyebrows. Mio stood up and pushed her mom out of her bedroom, "You can go now, mom. Ahaha... ". Miss Yuki did as she told. The door closed behind her, and she was weird. "Mio is having a problem, but she won't share it with me", she sighed. Miss Yuki began walking towards the kitchen again. Halfway, she stopped. She stood still for a moment and muttered, "Leave her as be, I shouldn't poke my nose into her life too much", she smiled.

         Tears running down Mio's cheek. Her voice was shaking. "I should have forgotten about him by now but-", her body was trembeling, "-i just couldn't! He kept playing inside my mind!", she cried. Mio hugged her knees, hiding her face. Suddenly she realized about something and stood up, "Ahahaha! Whatever! I should spend my time finishing these assignments instead of wasting time thinking about him!", she said, trying to cheer up. "C'mon Myon! You can do it!". She forced herself to smile even the tears were still there. Mio lost to her emotions and fell on the bed. She covered blanket all around her and closed her eyes. "Yup, I might skip classes tomorrow", she said. "Goodnight, Donut". And she went to sleep.  

          Donut was Mio's imaginary friend. Instead of having human friends, she prefered befriend with animals, plants, or air. Hanging out with a group is ridiculous to Mio. Mio hated social. She likes to be alone. Being alone is a wonderful thing but it's sad, Mio often talks with Donut at school. And from that point, people started calling her "CRaZY". But Mio didn't mind that. To her, they are idiots. But sometimes Mio is lonely.
